Foals Bring It Back

Foals Bring It Back

This Orient is the first single from the album, ‘Total Life Forever’ due to be released on May 10th . With this single we are back to the foals we know after the album taster single ‘Spanish Sahara’ which showed us a more subdued side to the Oxford 5 piece.  It’s evident that Foals are swinging away from their math-core roots and have been influenced by the mainstream indie genre; the track has an Editors sound about it, with a deep driving bass line and a continuous high pitched lead for the chorus.  Foals still stay true to their own with a very math-core opening to the track and verse. One of the biggest sounding songs to come from the band and it will be interesting to see how they have manipulated their sound after many long heated debates when recording it in Sweden, that nearly saw the band break up.
